Stamatis Tsilias was born and raised in Athens. He studied culinary arts in Greece and at N.C.F.E. College. He has worked in notorious hotels and restaurants in Greece and abroad as the “Garlic & Onion”, the award-winning “Nikola of Schinoussa”, the Mykonian “Bellagio” and recently in the Athenian “Malvazia”.
One of his greatest successes was the award of the restaurant “Molon Labe” in Moscow, Russia which was included in the 10 best restaurants of the city for 2014. At the same time the restaurant was awarded by La Chaîne as the 5th best in Russia while Stamatis deservedly earned the title of «chef des Rôtisseurs».
His primary goal is to highlight the Greek cuisine in all of its aspects and simultaneously the pure products that blossom in Greece. That explains his choice in the last years to travel and stay constantly abroad gaining new experiences and promoting his art.
